Tagging content

Tags in the Beckman Web Template are a way to organize content for displaying later using a widget. You can have multiples tags for a single piece of content and can set up new tags. For example you can have a "Research" tag for a broad category of items like news and events related to research and you can have more specific tags for "MRI" or "Energy" or "Media mentions" that you can futher group content. Use tags if you want to have content like news, images, jobs, and more to be able to be used later in groupings.

If an item is taggable you'll find a section in the that item (often collapsed) labeled "Categories and tags". You can create new content tags from content items themselves or under "Content -> Tags" under the "Classification of content" heading.

Using Tagged content

If a widget supports using tagged content there will be an option to select it by the tagged content in the widget configuration and allows for you to pick which tag(s) to use to display the content.
